The Cruisers cannot function without the fantastic efforts of our volunteers. All four disciplines, Diving, Water Polo, Synchro and Speed Swimming require the ongoing volunteer efforts of all parents - and we thank you for your help with this.

There are a variety of volunteer activities required to run the club and the events, some of these include:

• Coordinating, planning and helping out with social activities
• Helping to run our Swim Meets (staffing the “Crash Desk”, food for officials, concession stand, set up and take down, etc.)
• Assisting at Water Polo tournaments (score keeping, running the shot clock, etc)
• Timing and Marshalling at all meets
• Officiating at meets (there will be opportunity for volunteers to be trained throughout the season)

You will be made aware of volunteering opportunities throughout the season through regular email communications and requests for volunteers. In some cases we will need additional assistance for an event or competition. In these case the Cruisers Volunteer Coordinator may contact you and request that you help out. Please remember that with a little bit of effort from everyone we can accomplish a lot!!
